
Eugene Bellamy, Jr., Ed.D., is a proud 2010 graduate of Coastal Carolina University. He graduated with a B.A. in Communication, majoring in Communication with a minor in Music: Voice. In 2012, he graduated from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University with a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. In January 2024, he completed his Ed.D. in General Leadership from National University with Distinction.
Dr. Bellamy currently serves as the Director of Federal Programs and Strategic Planning in Jasper County School District. He has formerly served in Leon County (FL), Marion County, and Horry County as a K-2 EBD instructional paraprofessional, middle school math teacher, middle school assistant principal, middle school principal, and district coordinator, specialist and director.
Throughout his 15-year career as a math educator and administrator, he has been actively involved in developing his leadership skill set and capacity. Dr. Bellamy most recently transitioned from being President to Past-President for the South Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics (SCCTM) and serves as President for South Carolina Leaders of Mathematics Education (SCLME). In addition, Dr. Bellamy serves as a Lead Evaluator for Cognia, South Carolina’s premier accreditation institute, and he serves as a Field Supervisor for Teachers of Tomorrow.
Dr. Bellamy is a member of the Palmetto State Teachers’ Association (PSTA) and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Music Fraternity.
Dr. Bellamy is eager to inspire, engage, and empower leaders and renew their zeal for creating climates and cultures of excellence. Most importantly, he is the proud husband of Raven and father of Madison, Micah, and Malachi.
